Happy May!

The month has been a rainy one so far here in MN, but it has been nice for my vegetable garden. I’m looking forward to getting the rest of our veggies planted now that it’s a bit warmer. In other news, we’ve added chickens to our family! We’re so excited to have some hens to control the bugs in our yard & eventually provide us with eggs. Look for some future blog posts about our girls Little Buff, Lady Chicky & Miss Berta!

I came across some seriously awesome lip balms from Hurraw! Balm & I just had to have them. These amazing little lip balms are handcrafted in Whitefish, Montana using organic, raw & wildcrafted ingredients. They are vegan, cruelty free, GMO free & certified Kosher Parve. I love Hurraw’s commitment to healthy ingredients & quality handcrafted products. I think they are a stellar example of what a business should be & I’m so happy to be carrying their products. Happy February!

The month is starting off quite chilly here, and while I do love the fresh snow, I can’t help but be anxious for spring! I’ve gotten a few seed catalogs, so I’ve been picking out a few things to plant this year. The kids want carrots and watermelons, and I would love a variety of lettuces and some Lemon Cucumbers. I had never heard of them before and I love how different they are. We’ll see how they grow! : )

The candle labels are almost done! I got stuck on the Harmony label, and had a hard time choosing a color AND a graphic. I finally decided on a blue butterfly. November Specials – Handmade Holiday

Happy November!

How is everything in your world this month? Things are going well here, even though it’s a bit cooler than I prefer. Although I shouldn’t complain, because we haven’t even made it to winter yet! : )

What’s new this month? Nourish Baby Organics has a whole new look and an amazing new Organic Sweet Orange Wash. They have also started the process for USDA certification. So cool!

We have new pet dental care from PetzLife that comes in a spray or a gel. It’s all natural and supposed to remove plaque & tartar buildup and help with bad breath. My dog Phoebe is testing it our for us. You can see her before and after photos here.

I just picked up some candle crocks made by local potter Mae Spencer and will be filling them this week with beeswax and soy wood wick candles. The crocks are so beautiful and will make great gifts.
